Accessorize - Folded Space - Fields Of Arle

Right, a little experiment here! I got 4 Folded Space videos to upload once edited but essentially I'm trying out using my smartphone as the overhead camera on a flexible mic crane - it meant I didn't need to buy any new kit beyond what I already had. The first couple of videos were handled visually by a webcam with the laptop, but when I discovered the fan noise was too easily picked up by the smartphone I then changed to my DSLR for the final two.

Board Game Glossary PART III

I kind of mucked up the bokeh focus settings on the camera for this one, sorry. I did what I could in post to sharpen the image, but I couldn't re-do over 30-40 minutes of footage. :-(

We gamers can get carried away when we talk about board games, forgetting that not everyone has heard of all the confusing terminology we go over. So in 3 videos released throughout August, I'll be helping some of you new gamers get to grips with what we're talking about! Today, we catch up on what's left in the final part going over terms that haven't yet made the cut, but focusing mostly on gamer traits.

Episode Six - GAMING WITH THE FAMILY

Back from my trip up North to spend a few days with the immediate family, the first time we've been all in the same place in over 3 years, wow. Emotional to leave them to come back home, but I did get some gaming done while I was there. Work had some "not-so-great" surprises for me when I got back and in order to ensure the job is put first, the podcast will revert back to a bi-weekly affair (full reasons explained in the show).

So in this episode after I talk about general channel updates I will discuss the games I've had success with in teaching the family before as well as how the games I took along this time round went down.

I'll also talk about how gaming with your non-gamer family can be a very different experience to playing with gamers and how you may need to adjust your settings a little to cope with them pushing your buttons. . .

Episode Three - SPIEL/DICE TOWER AWARDS

I wasn't sure if I was going to do this but by popular request on my first stream, people wanted to hear my thoughts on the recent Dice Tower Awards.
