Jiguan Review

As a master mechanist in Jigūan: The Eastern Mechanist, it is your job to acquire parts, obtain energy, improve your skills and complete your creation. Your goal is to advance your place in the Five Pagodas, by creating unique mechanical beasts. Your creations not only bring you honor but also contribute to the advancement of Eastern civilization.

From a line of relatively light games comes one of the more think-y titles I've reviewed from EmperorS4. Does more meat equal a better dish?

Trial of the Temples Review

Every century the most powerful Archmages gather at the centre of the world — “Mages' Arena”. They must enter the trials at the three temples to compete for the title of “Supreme Master”. Each Archmage will refine crystals and create magical barriers to block their opponents in order to complete the trials and find the best timing to surpass their opponents. Archmages will aim to cast a spell from the spellbook to create an amazing spell chain! Who will win and recive the ultimate title?

EmperorS4 regularly put out fun and quirky games and so far for me, haven't put out a single dud, even if only a couple have nailed my Top 100 list. Does this continue the trend despite focusing on..........tracks?

Architects of the West Kingdom: Age of Artisans Review

Yes, focus issue will persist for this and the next 2 videos! Sorry, technicals!

In Architects of the West Kingdom: Age of Artisans, journeymen have returned to the city as master craftsmen, equipped with knowledge of new crafts and tools. The Guildhall has never been so busy! While some apprentices spend time learning new skills, others adorn the city’s buildings with everything from golden tapestries, to stained glass windows. But don’t let the shimmer of lights and fancy wares deceive you. For not all that glitters is gold.

In addition to including components for an extra player, Age of Artisans adds the new Craft Cards, a dual-layered Guildhall Board, two new Player Boards and a variety of new Apprentices and Buildings.

Pret A Porter (Third Edition) Review

During a batch of filming I messed up the camera lens setting and the game is out of focus. came rectify it and don't have time to reshoot. Apologies and after Essen it will go back to normal on review videos.

Prêt-à-Porter is a 2-4 player board game, unique mix of deep economy strategy and direct interaction. Low luck element, many important decisions to be made and many strategies that can be used to acclaim victory. With wide range of different employees, different buildings and contracts you can create your unique company every single time.

You know my history with economic games - if it ain't light, I ain't gonna like! Here we have a 3 hour economic game brought back from 2010 in a new and updated form. Can this break the losing streak of this genre for me with its unique theme, pleasing aesthetics and promise of wide variety?

Arkham LCG (Return To Boxes) Review

"Return To" boxes invite you to re-open your old cases and experience the full-length campaigns for Arkham Horror: The Card Game with fresh eyes as you encounter new challenges and new surprises. Across each expansion’s 81 new scenario cards and 23 new player cards, you’ll explore new locations, face more ghastly treacheries, and enhance your investigator’s abilities as you face even more unspeakable terrors.

Are these worth the money and will they add enough to the old cases to influence them enough?

Point Salad Review

Point Salad is a fast and fun card drafting game for the whole family. There are over 100 ways to score points. Players may use a variety of strategies and every game of Point Salad is unique!

Can this new quirky filler actually do what a decent filler should do? Like for starters, actually be as long as a filler?

Lockup Review

You command a squadron of these captured Dragul. Gather goons and craft contraband to raise your reputation. Keep your suspicion with the guards low while establishing yourself as the most powerful crew in Kulbak. In six short days, Taron may offer you the chance to fight for your freedom.

Lockup: A Roll Player Tale is a competitive worker-allocation game for one to five players. In the game, players manage groups of minions -- gnolls, kobolds, bugbears, goblins, or insectoids -- locked up in Kulbak Prison.

It's got all the buzz lately, but can it live up to my expectations?

Top 10 Games I've Warmed Up To

Most games if I don't like them to begin with don't change for me. But a few have been OK and then turned great. And even more weird, some that I despised I can now give a bit more respect. Not everything said about your favourite game will be good though! :P
